2017 Utah Integrative Health and Resiliency Conference

(6th Annual Conference)

Call for Papers


This is an invitation to submit a proposal to present at the 2017 Utah Integrative Health and Resiliency Conference to be held at the J. Willard Marriott Library at the University of Utah on March 13th and March 14th, 2017.


The selection of the presenters will be based upon the following criteria:

1. Credentials of the presenter(s).

2. Demonstrated effectiveness of the integrative modality or resilience intervention being presented (please include references).

3. Presenter communication and teaching skills

Nature of Presentations

The review committee is open to any evidenced-based integrative research project, technique, modality, or philosophical perspective.  We are hopeful that this will be a forum for researchers to share the results of their integrative research projects.  We hope to have experiential “how to” sessions. Examples of presentations are included in the box.

Suggested Topics

Resilience, Resiliency, Taoism/ Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, Indigenous healing, Vibrational medicine, Naturopathic medicine, Positive psychology, Shamanic healing, Massage (Swedish, Shiatsu, Rolfing, Myofascial, Sports, Rosen), Acupuncture/pressure, Reiki, Healing/therapeutic touch, Reflexology, Craniosacral therapy, Spiritual healing techniques, Herbal healing/nutritional healing, Tai chi/ Qi Gong/Yoga, Aerobics/dance/art/music therapies, Ecological therapies (colors, visual arts, water, movies, Feng Shui, chromatotherapy). Mind/Body Healing (visualization/imagery, meditation, hypnotherapy, NLP, stress management, breathing, progressive relaxation), Journaling/story telling/reminiscence/bibliotherapy


· Your credentials, training or experience

· A half to full page summary of your proposed presentation.

· Your method of instruction that should include participant involvement.
